POWER BACK UP IS VIA AN INVERTER AND BATTERY BANK. ONE SINGLE BATTERY, CAN POWER ALL THREE RADIO STATIONS FOR 18 HOURS.
A RECENT THUNDERSTORM, PUT THE SYSTEM TO THE TEST. WE WERE ABLE TO SWITCH TO BACK UP POWER; THUS AVOIDING THE THOUSANDS OF SURGES AND POWER INTERRUPTIONS THAT CAN CAUSE GREAT DAMAGE TO BROADCAST EQUIPMENT.

Two stations carry network feeds on the weekdays and music with a live DJ's on the weekends. The mixer can be switched out for a Behringer 1002b; or set alongside FM1's for single position operation .

FM1 has three carts and a
computer for music and spots.
Instead of a power sucking PC; an MP3 player is used to play music sets.
