Verizon has made repairs to our DSL lines bringing our up speed 500 kbps, while it's not the 768 kbps we were hoping for, considering we are 30 miles from the nearest traffic light, it's not bad!
The increased speed will allow us to begin adding more streams from our new campus soon.
This elementary school dropout, is part of the Taft, Chamber of Commerce extortion team. They threaten businesses with destruction if they don't join their taxpayer subsidized Chamber. We were one of those who chose not to join the corrupt Chamber, and as promised, they have attempted to destroy our operation by spreading viscous rumors about our staff. We know because we get feedback from some of you who have been contacted by Tom Mayo, including a Northern California rancher who was contacted by Tom recently. Tom tried to accuse us of child molesting, a very serious allegation. The rancher Tom contacted knew for a fact it was B.S. and told Tom Mayo so!
Unfortunately most people just take as fact without checking out or considering the source. Let us know if he contacts you!
We could not be doing what we do for ten years if there was an once of truth to Tom's allegations.
Tom Mayo has close ties with Taft, Councilman and former Mayor Cliff Thompson. Having poor taste in friends may have cost Cliff, his run for county supervisor.
Unfortunately whack jobs like Tom Mayo are a part of broadcasting, every successful station has one or two.
The good news is that the students are safe from nut jobs like Tom Mayo, despite his many attempts to locate the radio campus. Folks in our surrounding communities, know not to give us up to anyone. We would like to thank the local Chambers where we are proud members for not giving us up.
Tom can call all he wants, people know to just dummy up about us.
